28 June 2026: Conference Reception

The University of Tartu Delta Centre is a complex of buildings consisting of a study and research building and a business building. Over 2500 students attend the institutes located in Delta, and approximately 500 researchers, faculty, and university support staff work there, along with about 400 employees from various companies. 29 June 2026: Guided Boat Tour on the River Emajõgi

• Meeting point: Ujula tn 98, Tartu linn
• Starts at 17:30

The Emajõgi-Peipsi barges were unique wooden sailboats, relatives of the Hanseatic logs, which began to be built for the waters here in the 14th century, when Tartu and Peipsi passed through international transit - the Hanseatic trade. Read more at https://lodi.ee/laevad/kahemastiline-lodi.

30 June 2026: Excursion and Conference Dinner in Alatskivi Castle

• Bus leaves to Alatskivi: 15:00

Since 1885, the snow-white castle with its turrets has caught the eye in the heart of Alatskivi. Modelled after Balmoral Castle, the main building of the manor was designed by its owner, Arved Georg von Nolcken, himself. Over the years, the castle has had various functions, but since 2011, the restored castle has been open to all guests in its full glory. Read more at https://www.alatskiviloss.ee/en
